MECHANIKA RADMOR Sp z o.o.

We are a production and service company dealing with metal forming and machining. We offer comprehensive services in the field of design and technology, production and quality control of manufactured products. We offer a wide range of production capabilities, and thanks to our many years of experience, educated staff and highly advanced machinery, we are able to provide customer support at every stage - from order to delivery of the details.

We have been operating as an independent business entity since 1999 (previously under the name Zakład Mechaniczny belonging to RADMOR S.A.), and since 2018 we have been a separate company registered under the name Mechanika-Radmor sp. z o.o. RADMOR S.A. is our 100% shareholder. We are also part of the WB Group, which is currently the largest Polish manufacturer offering communication and command technologies and advanced solutions to armed forces from around the world.

The company's headquarters are located on Gdynia's most industrial street, Hutnicza Street. In the immediate vicinity of the company is the Kwiatkowskiego Estakada, which provides a fast connection to the Container Terminal in Gdynia and the Tri-City Bypass leading to the A1 Motorway.

History

History from 1947 to the present day

 

1. BEGINNING - 1947

A joint stock company, Morska Obsługa Radiowa Statków, is founded in Gdańsk.

Its task was to repair electronic equipment salvaged after the war.

The service workshop was located on the premises of the Gdansk University of Technology.

2. PP MORS

The State Enterprise MORS was established.

3. CHANGE OF SEAT

Due to increased space requirements - the company moved its headquarters from Gdansk to Gdynia.

4. 1954-1964

A decision is taken to specialise the company in VHF radio communications.

In 1956, production of the first radiotelephones of the company's own design began.

In 1958, production of mobile radios was launched, which formed the core of production until 1974.

5. 1965 - 1967

The company, after 20 years of operation and an earlier move from Gdansk to Gdynia, moves to its current location on Hutnicza Street in Gdynia.

The first area moved to the new location is the Mechanical Plant (November 1965).

6. 1968 - 1971

In 1968, the T-21 Radio Plant was separated from PP MORS and in 1971 the name RADMOR Radio Plant was adopted.

7. DEVELOPMENT

As the company grows, a decision is taken to expand the premises in Gdynia at Hutnicza Street.

Construction began in 1977.

8. 1979 - 1993

Over the years RADMOR has been strengthening its position on the communications market.

Radiotelephone single-channel subscriber links, wearable radios, mobile radios are being developed.

9. joint-stock company RADMOR

In 1994, RADMOR is transformed from a state-owned enterprise into a joint-stock company - 100% of the shares are owned by the State Treasury.

10. First military radio station

In 1996, the first military radio for tactical communications was produced.

11. separation of the Mechanical Plant

In 1999, the Mechanical Plant was separated from RADMOR's structures.

Since then, ZM has operated as a separate business entity, but still under the name RADMOR S.A.

12. 2011

RADMOR is part of the WB GROUP, the largest privately owned defence concern.

13. 2018

A new company, Mechanika-Radmor Sp. z o.o., was established, of which RADMOR S.A. is the 100% shareholder.
